As 2019 draws to an end, we would like to take this opportunity to thank the teachers, parents, coaches and managers who have worked with our tour groups this year. This year over 1500 passengers entrusted Estilo Travel to organise their overseas tour and we are looking forward to preparing tours for our 2020 groups. We appreciate the trust that teachers, parents and managers place on our staff and will continue to work tirelessly to ensure our groups are as safe, engaged and entertained as possible.
Our year stared mid-January with a group of 40 entrepreneurs travelling to India to promote their start up business. As always, Fiji remains a popular destination for Australian schools and clubs, with over 400 passengers enjoying a trip to Fiji for either service or sport. This year, our groups travelled to virtually all four corners of the globe, with the South Pacific, Japan, North America, Africa and the UK being the destinations of choice.
Passenger safety remains our main priority and in 2020, managers will be invited to attend a pre departure meeting to discuss risk mitigation with expert staff and other experienced managers. Our exemplary safety record is due not only to the high level of planning completed by our staff prior to any departure, but also to the diligence of the managers leading our tours. Parents and passengers can rest assured that while on tour, our itineraries are designed to keep passengers as safe as possible at all times.
You may have noticed a small change in our name, which took place without fanfare this year. Although our core business continues to be sporting travel, we are now completing more and more service and education tours and conference travel. Regardless of the purpose of your tour, staff at Estilo Travel can organise a tour which meets your budget and fulfils all expectations.
